Create and share the form
How do I create the form?
In step 3, click Generate form. It's ready after a few seconds. It includes a personal welcome, questions for the occasion and a photo upload.
You need to be logged in for this. We send you a login link by email, no password needed. We publish the forms through our own account, and the confirmed email protects us from abuse.
How do I share the link?
You have three options:
- Copy link and paste it into a group, for example on WhatsApp, Signal, Slack or Teams.
- Share opens your apps directly on a phone. A short invitation text is already included.
- Share via email opens a ready-made email with subject and text.
Don't send the link to the person you're celebrating. That would spoil the surprise.
What does the form look like for everyone else?
See for yourself: Open form. People read the welcome, answer a few questions and upload photos. It takes about two minutes. Nobody needs an account or an app.
I made a typo. What now?
As long as nobody has answered, click Regenerate. The new form uses your current details. The old link stops working, so share the new one.
Once the first answer is in, the form is locked. Answers belong to exactly this form.
How do I stop collecting?
Click Close form. After that nobody can answer anymore. All contributions so far stay in the book. Click Reopen to carry on.
Can someone organise this with me?
Yes, with the team link. Anyone who has it sees the forms, the links and how many people have joined in. The answers themselves stay hidden. You can revoke the team link at any time.
